About Me
Bjarni Þór Kristjánsson er fæddur 1954 og kominn af handverksmönnum. Menntaðist sem smíðakennari frá KHÍ og starfað lengst sem handverksmaður og kennari. Hans aðal efniviður er tré, járn og hvaltennur og fæst hann við að gera skúlptúra úr þeim efnum, aðllega fólk, fugla og dýr.
Bjarni Þór Kristjánsson was born in 1954 and comes from a long line of craftsmen. Was educated as a woodworking teacher from KHÍ and worked for a long time as a craftsman and teacher. His main material is wood, iron and ivory and makes sculptures from these materials, mainly people, birds and animals.
